absolutely wild that they had songs like 4th of July and Live Again in the tank and said "nah let's put Student Demonstration Time out into the world instead"

 

been absolutely obsessed with this song recently. even unfinished it's arguably one of the greatest Brian compositions, just unbelievable

 

I am reading the Brian Wilson memoir and listening to the Jokermen pod series on them and watching Love and Mercy

God I think I know how good the title track is and then I put it on and realize I cannot conceptualize its greatness unless I am actively listening to it.

 

reading that dirt article and its shameful how many people consider good vibrations to be anything less than a straight up perfect song
