There's too many fears to conjure up at this point.

  2. The worst of 2016 will be president. The kids of our nation will grow up with that.

    I agree. I'm just spit-balling because I don't know, I'm crushed. We all are.

I know this just happened and the full repercussions won't be known for some time but if anyone could tell me what to do to help, I'd really appreciate it because I also feel fucking lost right now.

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

Like I posted earlier in this thread, the potential for a new era of great politically minded punk and hip hop music is definitely there.

The Reagan and Thatcher years in the 80's fostered the golden age of punk, and it saw some of the first conscious hip hop music.

The Thatcher years did produce some good music, shame about the whole "ruining entire countries pretty much forever" thing

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

for the low turnout i wonder what the bigger factor was.

    - thinking that their candidate had a win in the bag already?

    or

    - dislike of either candidate so decided not to vote?

    or something else entirely.

Of course it didn't, never insinuated that it did. It's just an observation about how political climates effect music, art, and youth culture.

I don't have words. I feel like a stranger in my country, my state, and in my church (81% of evangelical Christians decided the least Christian presidential candidate ever was more qualified than a devout Methodist. Go figure).

    I just feel lost.

Virginia barely won for the Dems, Minnesota is only up about 20k, Reps won Wisconsin for first time since Reagan, Pennsylvania first time since 1988, won Michigan... what an unbelievable, uncomprehending ending.
