Glad to see I’m not the only one that ended up liking Flintlock. I downloaded it when it hit gamepass cause I was just like can’t hurt to check it out and ended up actually really digging it. Agree pretty much with what you said graphically probably could have been better but game wise it was a pretty strong experience.

 

the rifts never stopped being fun. exploration was so good!

i'd be surprised if they bring it back online, this seems like a polite way to kill it. they spent like what, 100mm on developing it. the free beta had ~700 players on steam, i don't think making it FTP with a battle pass is gonna get them the ROI they need to keep it alive. just close it down and write it off as a very expensive loss

 

People wrote it off before it came out. Going free to play wouldn't have saved it. It was a fun game, just nothing new.

Then there's the whole crowd who just pushed to get it shut down with such negativity and bigoted bullshit.
