Power Stone 2 has been on my wishlist for a while so that is exciting.

 

In an absolutely unhinged act by me I’ve started XC2. Having had it since 2018 and haven’t turned on my switch in probably 7 months. Let’s get it

 

Some follow up on the Nintendo presentation:

Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy comes out April 24th in Japan for Switch and Steam, with the English version coming at a later unannounced date.

The following games are confirmed as coming to all platforms:
* Tales of Graces f Remastered
* Castlevania Dominus Collection
* Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
* Suikoden I & II HD Remaster
* SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game
* Tetris Forever
* Coffee Talk Tokyo

Worms Armageddon Anniversary is coming to all platforms except PC, apparently.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is coming to all platforms except XBox.

Not in the presentation, but Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is now coming to Steam on September 11th. It will have all the DLC but will not have the Online Battles network mode.

Finally, Konami announced they're releasing a remake of Tokimeki Memorial called Tokimeki Memorial: forever with you Emotional on Switch in 2025 in Japan. No word on a worldwide release, but I'm hoping. It's a classic of the genre, and deserves to be translated.

 

also if you need convincing how cool of a game Tokimeki Memorial is may I introduce you to the man of many words, Tim Rodgers. also I highly doubt this will get a translation, at most a fan translation, dating sims are super niche here in the west

 

They may be niche, but I feel like Steam has been a huge outlet for niche genres if nothing else. The sheer number of visual novels and dating sims that have come out on Steam over the last few years shouldn't be dismissed. And the Switch has seen quite a lot as well, digitally.

lmao, yeah don't get me wrong- i'm still gonna buy it! which will make this the second time after buying it on PS5, lol (and the third time playing it after initially playing on GamePass)

Don’t come for me I listened to the entire thing as promised. I am chiptune maxxing. I am 8bit pilled.

 

I have it on PS5 as well, but since I play most of my fighting games on my switch, this is an instant buy for me!

 

to be real- i find it a bit tough to play traditional fighting games on switch (at least in handheld mode; it is a BITCH trying to do a shoryuken on a joycon)
i'm pretty much moving my fighting content over to PS5, lol

 

I guess it depends on how competitive you wanna be, I mean I play on fucking keyboard.

but playing fighting games on joycons sounds like hell haha

 

I mean yeah it does have a market on steam... But this is Konami were talking about, idk if they would even want to go through the effort of translating the game for a small number of ppl on 1 platform to buy it

 

Is the market on Steam that small? I feel like it's not.

EDIT: I can't imagine the Switch audience being that small either considering how many there are on the shop. Someone is buying them.
