Yorgos’ next one where two conspiracy theorists kidnap a CEO Emma Stone who they think is an alien, I’m really excited for that one.

Did a 90s double feature last night of Sleepy Hallow and Anaconda.

Anaconda is all kinds of bad but we had fun with it and it weirdly kind of plays out like a slasher down to two characters going off into the jungle to bang.

 

man Dawn of the Dead is still as good as it gets. the first 10 minutes alone are some of the most anxiety inducing filmmaking there is

also shoutout to that one zombie that takes Roger's gun when they first go to the mall and he still has at the end of the movie (5? months later)

 

something about Immaculate just worked for me. It was unexpected! Dug it far more than I thought I would.
I enjoyed all three! Long Legs is one I'll have to revisit in a few months- my expectations were too high, and that's my fault.

 

Maybe the best horror film ever made imho

 

Alright I’m gonna steal a category from this year’s Hooptober for my Gore-Us contribution cause I love it and it’s kinda unique. “1 film that exists in at least 2 available cuts (you just have to watch one but bonus if you watch them all)”
