Genuinely nice to see the Red Sox pitching starting to stabilize but perhaps 44 year old Dick Mountain was not the answer to a stable bullpen

 

We badly need Elfin to be a solid pitcher 2 behind Burnes cause Kremer is NOT it

No offense to Soto, Wells or Jazz but if Judge wasn't on this team I'd probably be done with them for the year. Would watch only by accident

 

This year reeks of when they lost the division by a game or whatever cause they just kept inexplicably pitching Andrew Heaney. Except it's Will Warren this year

 

The bullpen is literally on E thanks to the starting pitchers not going far and they made Hernandez pitch in a blow out lol

With a month left. How has the extra playoff team improved the league?

The AL....honestly, it hurt it. The AL is over. Orioles vs Yanks isn't as exciting as it could be because wild card is best of 3 now so it's not AS bad as a punishment. Also, since there really isn't a 7th team in the hunt, there's no threat to miss playoffs outright. And yeah, AL east 2nd place, Royals, Twins all locked in. If it was only 6 teams, VERY exciting. Orioles vs yanks is must watch stuff, and the royals/twins battling for final spot would also be exciting.

the NL....i guess its hard to argue that it hasn't made 2024 more exciting. A ton of teams still sort of in the hunt and a lot of them are 'decent' so it doesn't feel like we're squeezing in a terrible team here. STILL even as a mets fan, i don't care for it. if the mets win 86 games and that's not enough (which it wouldnt be with 6 play off teams), then so be it, we didn't play good enough. But alas, the final month, the NL should be fun (especially for mets fans)

 

What are you talking about lol the Royals/Twins/Red Sox/Tigers are all fighting for the final spot in the AL. That spot is far from decided with the way those teams are playing.
