Well our generation absolutely needs to have more kids but I think most people in our generation also support making it more affordable to do so lol. Like I’ve said multiple times more people should have kids *if they can afford it. It’s super rewarding and awesome and we’re going to need people to pay taxes for the things we all want to happen. As other counties have shown, a shrinking tax base is not good for the social safety net.

like millennials are on track to be the next Boomer generation but without the sizeable generation below us to support social programs once we start to retire. It’s gonna get ugly.

 

we have two kids and if we had more money we definitely would have had more but we made the decision to stop there for mainly financial reasons

 

yyyep. We would love to have had 3 but we had to wait longer to start having them due to financial reasons and if age weren’t a factor at this point, we’ll be done at 2 anyway because two teacher salaries aren’t going to support 3 kids lol. Maybe if we were able to get started sooner we would have tried to make a 3rd work but now we’re getting older than either of us would like to be.

I randomly said to my wife the other day that we should have another baby because babies are fun and her response was "fuck you"

 

My fiances sister actually has a son so I already kinda am an uncle but they live on the other side of the country in California so I still haven't even met the little guy

I’ve been kind of silently supporting the idea of taxing car size for a while now but def feel like getting a lot more vocal about it with all this research coming in. It’s an undeniable problem at this point

 

My wife and I never wanted kids and here we are 11 years later with a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old and I have no idea what happened, how we made it this far and where the hell any of this time went but we’re pushing through.

 

At some point, something is gonna have to give with all the trucks and SUVs these auto makers keep putting out in America. They’re taking up too much space, they still guzzle gas, and most of all, they’re increasingly getting more and more expensive and out of financial reach for most Americans.

 

This is something with my own own usage of weed that has become clearer to me that having the market so tilted towards putting out high THC products and thus losing out an the additional cannabinoids is a problem with the legal market. Also delves into the lack of diversity of suppliers in legal markets as well.

 

Yeah at this point, I take one puff from a pen or a bowl and I'm just done for the day. Just constantly dozing off on the couch.
