So uh... I can't find news or an announcement on this anywhere, and yet our mutual "sources" are reporting this.

And they’ve never been wrong, and that artwork looks pretty official, so...

Anyway, thought someone here might want to know.

wild if this is real. those song titles sound more like Damon solo to me

this song is nice enough but I hope the album has a bit more of that Magic Whip flair, that album was great

He says he treats it like a job and he just can't not make music. He goes to his studio from 9-5. When he's not at his studio he's writing on trains, planes, buses, onto iPads, synths, anything. It's always really interesting to see him create something. Even if all of it isn't outstanding or amazing, he's always passionate and trying to explore something new that interests him.

He says for the next Gorillaz album he wanted to do something completely different and I'm inclined to believe him because I was never expecting their Meanwhile EP.

I was kind of down on how chill the song is, but then it becomes really catchy and a good groove because the vocals that follow Damon are so good and pair really well with him and the chorus is delightful.

I’m getting pretty hyped about this one. I’ve been diving into their discography the last few months and I’m eating it up. Friday can’t come sooner!

Just took a spin of it on my lunch break today and wow, what an excellent album! Honestly really enjoy the approach they took and it very much sounds like a modern take on a Blur album. I really appreciate and respect how Damon is really up to date on current music/sounds and whatnot. I’ve been seeing a lot of of people have saying that it sounds more like a Damon solo album, but I think it’s pretty on par with their discography.

Can’t wait to give it some more listens. This might be my favorite album of 2023 so far. Hope they come out to the states next year!

I can’t believe it’s been over a year already. This soundtracked my summer after it came out. Time flies!

this is ageing into one of their best albums for me, it's such a lovely album. The Narcissist is an all-timer
