Lol fair enough. My bad, yours was right after mine in the thread so I thought you were aiming at me. No harm, no foul. I get defensive about some of it because I see people conjecture and assume but I saw enough firsthand to make it hard to listen to my favorite band for about a year or so. Just a shitty situation all around.

 

that band was my favorite band of all time and helped me out of some pretty dark places in my youth. So their breakup was something i personally had to work through and get over, so I read everything and listened to everything. I do think it will be a very very long time before they work together again. Cause there is a lot of hurt there. I do actually think it will happen. As you said time heals all wounds and I almost think they have a decade plus of stuff to work out but I think eventually they will find their way back. Maybe that’s just me projecting my wishes, but I feel like we have seen bands work their issues out with some crazy circumstances. While I like both better lovers and many eyes it’s been tough to get into them because of how much love I have for Etid.

I thought you did a nice job summing up and putting your own thoughts based on what you saw.

Did a play through of Low Teens the other day. it’s my favorite album from them and sounds so fresh and interesting every revisit. Daniel needs to keep popping in for a record with bands. dude brings the special sauce.

All This & War is so good. still a little bummed the Better Lovers dudes didn’t tap Josh to be the frontman.

 

I love Josh but I don’t think Josh could have done the singing parts

 

I don't think Josh is going to do anything that isn't furthering his own vision. He's always been like that.

 

never felt like a real possibility, but i personally would have loved to see what they came up with on a full release.

 

Greg is an amazing vocalist, hopefully they improve on what they did for the ep.
