I love this show so much man, was in a really down place tonight and within 2 minutes of starting this I was laughing and smiling. ultimate cosy show

but yeah that final scene was dark, probably the darkest the show's ever been. Charles being so concerned about Sazz was so heartbreaking the whole episode

 

I just want this entire season to be Steve Martin and Eugene Levy playing off eachother.

 

They nailed that closing sequence. Wow.

Such a good balance of comedy and tension through the whole episode.

I loved the Galifianakis stuff too.

 

I'm watching this again from the start again, s1 definitely has the best mystery and it's directed so so well (that transition from Mabel's drawings of Tim to the full animation to them playing at the fountain in episode 2 is so fucking good) but it's definitely the least funny season. didn't notice until I jumped back like this how much more comedic this show has gone over the years

 

another great episode. they have toilet ham!

 

The putting the knives set in the dishwater bit in this episode had me going, haha

 

put Richard Kind in everything

 

was predicting an element of today's episode for a while, so needless to say i was really excited when it happened

 

I assume they'll lean even harder into the movie as the season goes along. I like this season more than the last already

'Only Murders in the Building' Renewed for Season 5

 

Always nice to see Desmin Borges pop up

 

Last season I fell-off midway through and didn't catch up until the season was over, but I am 100% all-in on this season. I think the emotional notes of the victim being a friend of the cast makes the story a lot more engaging. First two episodes are super well-constructed and funny, super stoked to see what happens next.

 

Richard Kind rules so much

 

rewatching s2 now and I remember enjoying it first time round but I barely remember any of this haha. main thing that stuck with me is the Sound of Silence scene

Lucy is a great addition though I hope they bring her back before this show ends. supporting characters that aren't Howard really get short shrift on this show lmao
