I just discovered a ton of brute force attempts on our work network and then I discovered that our networking team left one of our terminal servers internet facing which was done as a very temporary workaround over a month ago, lmao.

BUT! If every one of the 80% of Dem voters who support ending arms sales voted for her anyways, and of the majority of the 60% of Americans in general who support ending arms sales votes for her, imagine it she can maybe get some of the 40% of voters (who are almost certainly diehard Trump supporters and not in play for Harris anyways). It’s preeeeetttty genius when you think of it. It’s not like she runs the risk of alienating the support of people looking for an outlet committed to ending the genocide. Now, if that were the case, like if there were say a sizable uncommitted movement of typically reliable Dem votes in a key swing state who were calling for the end of the genocide and waiting for her to earn their vote with that platform, her position would be both morally indefensible and strategically idiotic.

Man, was it even this bad in the US post 9/11?? I feel like I remember there being some pretty bad polling at the time with Americans supporting some awful stuff we were doing in Afghanistan and Iraq but not sure

I have the Maverick hybrid. I love this little truck so much. It's made schlepping bike gear across Oregon so much easier. I even got a camping tent that fits in the bed.

I just had a miserable experience at GameStop trying to buy a birthday present for my little brother. These ladies were trying to trade in their kids old Xbox 360 and some games. They were given 65 cents in store credit

anyway my miserable experience was standing behind them for 10 minutes watching the entire interaction because one guy was working the register and the other guy who I assume was a manager was just browsing the computer until another worker came in off his break and then he checked me out like the manager couldn’t fathom having to check somebody out

I quit my job at the fire department today. Thought I’d share. I cried, a lot.

A bit of relief before more doomscrolling about my husbands student loan debt never going away.

The latter is what we do. We have been married 10+ years and have literally never fought about money. Sometimes we go over on our joint spending (that we agree on beforehand) and each give some fun money back to pay for it. I truly couldn’t recommend it more. Almost all my friends who have the shared “big pool” of money get into regular disagreements with their spouse about their own spending or the partners. Better off not caring and taking care of our own stuff.

what a dumbass. hope Luna loses.

oddly enough I heard about this through the birding subreddit because the golf courses were going to be built pretty much exclusively in the habitat of a native species. can't remember which one tho

all separate accounts but whoever's making more at the time pays for rent, which is usually me except between gigs. it would just be a headache for us worrying whose money is whose if it was all pooled together
