the timer glitchecd again at 9:05 so September 5th for the announcement maybe

Terrible marketing strategy.

 

Extremely on brand for them to do a 100 hour countdown to a date reveal that you'd only see if you kept staring at a black screen for 9 more minutes

My least favorite marketing strategy is counting down to another countdown. So stupid lol

The announcement is Deryck Whibley's book tour dates.

 

The irony is that Deryck moved his announcement to avoid any confusion with the LP announcement.

Mike is a notorious troll. When people complained about LPU 7 being all live songs and no demos, LPU 8 was just a bunch of joke songs Mike and Chester threw together so no one could say there wasn't new music

 

Apparently Mike has pulled similar stunts in other contexts
