Apparently, Friday's The Last Drive-In dusk til dawn Nightmarathon is 9pm to 12pm on Saturday lmao

 

I’d rewatch resurrection 10 times before I watched 3 again.

 

Oh you guys are talking about Alien Resurrection and not the Rebecca Hall Resurrection.

 

Rebecca Hall is so damn good in that one

 

yeah to be clear Alien Resurrection stinks. Rebecca Hall Resurrection is phenomenal

 

Assembly cut makes Alien 3 much better. Still a very flawed movie. But more watchable.

also did Alien Resurrection. Not good but tries to do something different and doesn’t succeed but tries. The Whedon script has not aged well but it has moments of fun. Don’t hate it

 

Had the other Resurrection film on my watch list. Guess I’ll bump it up to watch sooner with the praise in here

Watched Milk & Serial last night. Gotta say for what it was - really really enjoyed it.
Looking forward to what they do next. I imagine they'll get some buzz with this.

I'm curious to see if the reveal/second half will work better for me knowing what's coming on second watch.

 

this tiktok creator made a series of videos talking about her experience with Blink Twice (particularly the inadequate trigger warning) and it's my main reason for being reluctant to see it (only that first vid is really necessary to get her point and the last one is ten minutes long so don't watch them all unless you get really invested in what she's saying i guess)

but this other creator did a review moreso about the the themes of the film and how ineffective it was at handling them so now that's another reason

 

I was probably going to catch Blink Twice on digital, so I don’t really know much about it outside the initial trailer. I’ve only seen references to what’s going on since it released, so could someone let me know what kind of trigger warnings it should have? Not looking for details but just a broad warning to have for my friends

The Pumpkinman stuff looks really fun, can't find anywhere to watch anything of his though.

 

I have not seen any of his stuff, but the Philly-based Blood Sick Productions put out a Pumpkinman set including Nelson’s films and a new one featuring him made by them.
