I feel like a lot of the hate on Concord is completely undeserved. A lot of the stuff I see are from people hating on it because there are pronouns on the character select screens and because the character designs are uninspired. They actively want the game to fail. I saw them tweeting about how this game is an insult because they won't put beautiful women in video games anymore. I just don't get it.

There's tons of times games come out in an oversaturated market, but this one of the only times I've seen people be so pissed about it.

 

Then people complain about a $40 price tag instead of of it being free to play but then people bitch about microtransactions I'm free to play games. It's a losing battle no matter what. The gaming community (especially in places like Twitter and Reddit) is toxic as fuck.

 

I understand and will not argue against that but like damn, man, that conversation has gotten pretty damn ugly and contentious though and I flat out do not wanna read comments from people downplaying a genocide because that’s enraging.

Yesterday I clicked on a twitter video in the politics thread and had to shut down my computer and just laid on the couch for 30 minutes staring at the ceiling. I am still reeling from it and might actually need professional help to process what I saw.

All three TimeSplitter games are now available on PlayStation with both PS4 and PS5 versions.

 

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I didn't watch it, but honestly just seeing the image is enough to make me really question what we're even doing.

I didn’t realize until many years after those games released that they were the spiritual successors to the Goldeneye. I would always get angry at myself for all the time I missed possibly playing them with friends. By the time I knew we were all moved on to Halo. I did play them but never rounded up friends for multi. Would love a new one.
