Orioles pitching down bad

 

Our luck has just been so trash.

-best closer, Felix Bautista, got Tommy John before the season
-got Craig Kimbrel to take his place, hes having an atrocious year
-Kyle Bradish, our best young SP starts the year looking close to elite and then needs Tommy John.
-our second best young SP Grayson Rodriguez also gets hurt
-trade for Zach Elfin, he has a couple really good games, then immediately gets hurt
-trade for Trevor rogers, his ERA promptly balloons to 10+ and we demote him a couple bad games later

Go figure it’s the one part of our farm system that *doesn’t* have an excess of talent. Now we gotta hope we can win with fuckin goddamn Dean Kremer and Cole Irvin lmao kill me

 

Just so frustrating lol the Orioles would be dominant rn if we had good pitchers but instead we’re losing a series to the Mets because of two walkoffs despite outscoring them in runs. It’s amazing we even have 74 wins right now

 

Love Corbin Burnes but he can’t pitch 80 games in a season and expect to still have juice for the playoffs. If anything these injuries make us have to preserve him even *more* if we want to have a shot

 

it definitely would be something special if he pitched 80 games

Nah that pretty much sums it up on the pitching side.

On the plus tho is Suarez who has been there to save our bacon.

 

Kremer is inconsistent, which I get, but at the same time his last several games he's been good and got fucked twice by our defense failing him in easy situations.
