Every once and awhile friends or coworkers and I will have random discussions on “normal person superpowers” we’d like to have. So it’s not like, something that gives you an ability, but something you would appreciate that goes overlooked.

My #1 most of the time would be to always have an empty lane to merge onto the highway with. When it happens you just move on with your day, no thought about it. But when you’re trying to merge and have an 18-wheeler trapped in the right lane and you can’t get ahead or behind when the merge lane ends, you would want nothing more than for that goddamn truck to be gone (or whatever vehicle or line of vehicles is in the way).

Saw a long time friend post some photos and one of them she was wearing a hat that had “47” on it. I immediately now think she supports Trump (bc what else would 47 stand for) He is such a terrible person and a bad representation of the Republican Party. I can understand differences in opinions but to to continue support a con man that wants to take basic rights away from people, a convicted felon (remember them calling Hilary a criminal and how she should go to jail. Yet their cult leader felon they don’t think belongs locked up??). A crybaby that throws a tantrum when things don’t go this way. A cry baby that can’t handle losing. Someone who can’t speak coherently (yet they talk trash about Biden) I can’t.

edit: the hat has the cult leaders scribbly signature on it. Wondering if I should rethink my friendship bc I don’t want to associate myself with people like that (the ones that support him).

 

Sometimes I think about how much I love kids and then I'm like hmm if I was a man people would probably find it creepy how and alarming much I genuinely enjoy being around children.

 

I went to the Target by my office yesterday on my lunch and found myself in the clothing section.

There’s a small area with sports merch which has all the local teams. Angels, Ducks, even LA teams like the Dodgers, Rams, Chargers…

But in there, was one Philadelphia Flyers hat.

I use a stall if available. I hate being in an area where people can watch me piss. Never felt comfortable with it

I’ve had too many dudes peeking over to my side to feel comfortable with urinals

never had a dude try to sneak a peek at your business at a urinal?

 

Not that I can ever recall.

We also had troughs to piss in in High School so you had to learn to not care about peeing next to someone without a barrier.

I knew some pee-talkers back in the day

 

3 Rivers Stadium used to have troughs. I hated that as a kid. People would get so drunk there that they’d pee in the sinks and the garbage cans.

We also didn't have doors on the stalls in high school.

 

There were doors on like 35% of the stalls in high school.
