these smaller streamers will try to get one or two big exclusive movies that would normally be in a theatres as a way to pull in subscribers.

 

I mean, it IS true haha. That's how the business works, the distributor goes with the option that makes them the most money. So if Peacock offers a better deal than potential box office plus EST/VOD, the distributor likely is going with the streamer
