Stephen is singing for Anberlin in green bay right now

 

I saw a live video recently of Kevin from This Wild Life filling in for them. So idk what's going on in that camp.

 

Band said matty had an issue he had to go home for. For 2 shows Stephen is filling in (other bands helped that other show)

 

I hope Matty has a (minor) issue when they come here

 

don't think it's announced yet, I'm going to the NY show

 

I hope the same for WWWY in October

 

Franz Ferdinand is opening for them at the beginning of October for 5 shows in Mexico, for whats is worth.

 

3 tours canceled the same day for the same reason. Its painful to read those statements

Just a casual reminder with all these cancellations that it probably isn't the best thing to complain about artist merch prices. For many it is the make or break on them being able to continue to be on the road.

 

Fingers crossed this tour that has been announced comes to the US and Canada for their fans out there

 

correct me if I’m wrong but those Danny wimmr offer sheets that leak that told us about the mudvayne reunion, Pantera and the Linkin park one, didn’t someone confirm the Sex Pistols being on it, and the gallows with Frank Carter?

 

in classic American fashion, it won’t burst for the top 1% of artists but it will for the small ones

 

Not sure if festivals with massive headliners are soaking up smaller shows as I would've expected, some hit or miss festivals this year it seems. If anything, folks on the cusp of the 1% are opting for festivals as much as they are for their own headliners (Hozier, Noah Kahan, etc)

 

I don’t know if it’s been like this for other shows, but the Something Corporate Dallas show tickets are $75 for GA floor, $118 for balcony.

 

Riot Fest aftershow tickets were $50.99 ($65.52 after fees) but some of the aftershows ticket prices were on the higher end.

I guess that happens when you bring a band back from retirement, it has to be worth it for them.

 

Personally i've been going to more festivals the last few years than stand alone shows because most shows are already expensive so paying a little more to see a bunch of bands at once has been easier financially, unless it's one of my favorite bands

 

This is why you go to shitty bar and DIY squat shows. Just sayin'.

 

I go to those shows because they're better, not because they're cheaper. That's just a bonus.

But I get it. I like some larger artists too and it's getting outrageous. Wanted to see Future this weekend but it's $100 for the worst nosebleeds.

 

I’m telling you all festival/a few local shows is the way to go for me

but that’s also because most bands don’t come to Fresno lmao but generally all the ones I do see are reasonable
