This is largely where I am at - I think it largely is a poor use of time and energy to tell people they are bad people if they are excited about some of the things that Harris and Walz propose; but, I am all for holding elected officials way more accountable. I forgot if it was @sophos34 or not that said it - but whoever said it was exactly right. We gotta stop acting like they are are friends or like we have a personal relationship with them. I am sure Walz is a nice guy if you met him, but we can't do an 'aww isn't he our cute uncle' all the way through four years.
