My low level Dewgong just helped me take down a gym with two dragons easy. Also love my Wigglytuff, knocking out dragonites like 600 levels higher.

 

I have seen 3 god damn lapras and 2 aerodactyl spawn close to my school in the last hour while I'm sitting at home. Some kind of bullshit.

 

Hatched a Lapras today and it is the best feeling

 

I was able to evolve a second Victreebell today, an Arcanine finally, a Poliwrath finally... but I'm not seeing anything I haven't seen before. Was hoping this event would bring some cool stuff out.

 

Evolved a second Venusaur today. Still only came out to like 1400CP, just like my first. Why did they make the starters so bad? And then things like Exeggutor and Arcanine automatically stomp everything and easily come out to 2000CP.

 

I still haven't broken 2000CP. I've got 1800+ Vaporeon and Arcanine.

 

Fuck yes. Just got this guy down my road. Only had 33 candies before this guy came along too so that saved me so much time.

That's now a Venusaur, Blastoise, Magmar, and Snorlax that have all spawned in the same couple of spots right in front of my house this week... Slowly making progress.

 

I've only hatched 126 eggs and my best hatches were:

1 Lapras
2 Kabuto's
1 Onix
1 Porygon
2 Electabuzz's
1 Aerodactyl
1 Dratini
1 Magmar
2 Ponyta's

I guess that's not too bad of the odds considering what everyone else is saying?

 

Me neither. Strongest are a CP1700+ Vaporeon and a CP1600+ Lapras.

 

I'm assuming my eventual Dragonite will, but I'm like 70 candies from that evolution.

 

Wait so this is an event or is this the new norm?

 

the bigger pokestop hauls and more pokemon spawning are an event to launch the new XP rules. until the 11th, i believe.

 

I've caught more Abra and Geodude in the last few days than I did in the time since the app launched. I have a realistic shot at Alakazam and Golem now. I also found another wild Snorlax while sitting on my couch; CP 2123. I hatched a CP 463 Onix as well; that is ridiculously low.

Also, did anyone notice that you now get 25 exp if a Pokemon runs from you? Is this new or did I just never notice before?

 

I caught six Abra in two days, and I'm now ONE candy away from an Alakazam. Still need 30+ Geodude and Machops though.

I'm making ground on Gyrados which I'm now exactly 100 candies away from. The biggest pains after I get those three are going to be Grimer (47 away), Voltorb (29 away but only hatched one ever), and Dragonite (67 away).

 

I've found a whole bunch of Abra lately too. Feels good. Also just 6 away from Gyarados.

My strongest is a 2100 Arcanine. It's the only thing I have over 2K.

 

Out of my top 12 that show up on my screen, my top THREE are Exeggutors and three more of the group are Arcanines... Three more are Eeveelutions. Something is wrong with that considering none of the three-step evolutions will get that high. Shits whack.

 

Yeah, the tiers are really weird.

 

Damn, need an exeggutor or ar canine, my highest is still gyarados. Lapras only like 1700.

 

SO i have to go outside i guess.

 

Yeah, my three Exeggutors are 2076, 2073, and 1910. My Arcanines are 1862, 1683, and 1670. They all evolve about this high from 500-600CP Exeggcutes and Growlithes too.

My Charmander was about 550CP and now Charizard is only 1568CP. It's terrible considering how damn long it took to get 125 candies and evolve him TWICE. I can't believe the balance in this game has been so bad for 90% of the Pokemon.

 

Going to a Pinsir nest today because I've still never seen one. Hatching a 10k tomorrow... you just know what's going to happen.

 

fucked around and got a 1800 snorlax with earthquake so that was cool.

 

I know some of you are done, but where is everyone else at, progress-wise? I'm at 124 (one more Abra candy to be at 125).

I'm at 134, though I'm waaaay far from a Dragonite and not sure how I'm gonna get a Hitmonchan or Magmar either
