    That Nirvana cover was wild.

After they played the 59’ sound I was like what the hell would they close with cause I knew the backseat wasn’t being played this tour and just died laughing when it started

    Low key the cover hit

This rocks, thanks for letting me know. I honestly think moving “Get Hurt” later unlocks the whole damn album. That song is just too much of an emotional hammer to play that early.

Would have loved to get history books or spider bites but literally whatever the show rocked.

For the “brian yaps too much” crowd they certainly put that to rest. Dude didn’t speak into the mic until 7 songs in

Don’t think he bantered for more than 45 seconds, haha.

This was easily my favorite of the 3 TGA shows I’ve been to since the reunion.

They seemed to be having a great time and sounded damn near tight.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Feels like he took people complaining about the banter last tour to heart and went hard in the other direction.

After like 6+ solo shows and a few banter led Gaslight shows, I was totally fine with them ripping through song after song last night lol

They sounded real good and def looked to be having a great time and that is truly all that matters to me. Just happy to have them back playing shows, banter or not

Nashville was pretty good, but DC blew it out of the water. Mostly nice to be able to hear Brian's vocals and people singing along, but the setlist hit all the right notes compared to Nashville. The two shows combined gave both a good run of the catalog (glad to see the American Slang songs they're playing now) + the new record, and DC was the best of the 4 times I've seen them since the reunion. DC even got some surprise songs that weren't on the original setlist!

Side note, but the Nashville show started at 7 and ended at 10:30, but the DC show started at 8 and ended at 11:30. Gotta find a balance there.

Seeing them on Friday - do they change the setlist every night?

Probably 5-7 songs different per night or so

They seem to be kinda winging it too a bit lol. For the Boston show neither 1930 nor Smells Like Teen Spirit were on their planned setlist.

They've only played Backseat once or twice on this tour and I was lucky to be there for one of them. Amazing what a difference that one song can make. I adore it so much.

What do I have to do to get Spider Bites on this tour?
