I haven't had a Nintendo since N64 and I've never had a Gameboy. If I ever get a handheld (unlikely) I was looking into the Backbone or something similar to use with Gamepass Ultimate (cloud gaming?) but since I already have a pretty extensive Steam library I'd probably be better off with a Steam Deck. Obviously I don't play Nintendo titles, but I'm excited for anyone who does, I'm sure the next gen Zelda game will be amazing

Those that play NCAA, how realistic are the stats when you play dynasty mode with default quarter lengths? In the past, the madden games have always bothered me that if you play by the default settings, the play count, the yardages, the QB attempts etc were all just so off compared to a real game. I always went online and messed with the settings. What is the 'base' play like for this one if one cares about those things? I don't see the point in playing a 12 game season and then having stat likes that look like you played 6 games for everything.

Been playing the Secret of Mana remake on my PS5, and it's a pretty good remaster of the OG game which is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. Trials of Mana and another BG3 playthrough are next on the list for me after that (especially after Patch 7 drops for BG3).

 

Giving Rise of the Ronin another shot, which I did like initially, but now i've changed my play style and it's made me enjoy it even more.

Before I was trying to parry everything and this game is not Sekiro lol.

 

Player’s Log:
I’m on chapter six of The Evil Within and I’m enjoying it so far. The story though…hopefully more develops soon. There’s disjointed stuff happening and hopefully it connects together soon. I like the bosses so far. The girl with all the legs was a cool monster design. It’s giving off RE4 vibes.

Trials of Mana is incredible and Visions of Mana just felt like a huge evolution from Trials of Mana in every way, that's why I am so stoked for it.

 

never forget when they started teasing a new def jam fighting game and then nothing came out of it

but also I don’t think this new one could be good

 

I can’t wait to get home from my extremely stressful trip to Chicago and start persona 5 from scratch

Player's Log: Trails from Azure

I am in the final dungeon. I think this is the game that turned me into a true Trails lover. I played Sky and Sky SC a few years ago and definitely enjoyed them, but it was like peeking into the first few chapters of a thirteen book series lol. Cold Steel 1 was good, and I'll admit I sort of went through the motions at times with Zero, but this is peak Trails. Can't wait to finish, then it's back to the Vita for CS2
