Anyways, ROMULUS TONIGHT

And happy anniversary to Freddy vs. Jason and Kelly Rowland calling Freddy the f-slur, I know @Contender will celebrate appropriately

 

I was not expecting to be sitting in the breakroom at work contemplating Freddy Kreuger's schlong tonight but such is life eh

also I watched Life 2017 tonight, good movie! one of the better Alien rip-offs probably. lot of very hot people getting killed in space, very cool creature design

 

Thanks to a migraine, I’ll (hopefully) be seeing Alien at 10am tomorrow instead now. Second time I’ve had to refund my tickets for this movie. Lol

 

I'm in for Romulus at 9:15 EST. The excitement is palpable!

 

I’m ready for brat fall.

 

So in a way, if Star Wars never happened, we may never have gotten Alien!! Thanks George!

 

Romulus was pretty good, occasionally great, and always fun, even if Alvarez's third-act reveal feels like it was pulled from a completely different movie. Definitely one to catch in theaters.

 

In Fear was a decently tense low-budget film.

excited to see Romulus tomorrow night.

 

Obviously more thriller, but currently watching Rear Window for the first time

 

Shocker, it was very good!

 

Alien tonight. I think the thing I love most about this movie is if you were going in totally blind you wouldn't realise Ripley is the protagonist until more than halfway through. and even then she's not some big action hero she's just better at surviving than the other 6. this movie is just so good at characters who actually talk and act like human beings (except Ash lol), no tropes and no spoonfeeding the audience with who's who

the Alien Queen just fucking riding an elevator in Aliens is so insanely funny. how the hell did she push the buttons

I surprised they didnt make a facehugger bucket

 

Movie takes place on a planet where the sun never goes down to explain away why anything is remotely visible

 

How bout instead of co-directing, they each film their own version.
