There’s a few Waiting tracks I’ve always wanted to hear live but I watch videos from 2001 and just accept that’s a time and place I missed out on.

 

Damn just had a walk down memory lane, even though it’s FC related. Bought this comp at some shop and was my first introduction to Thursday.

 

Waiting is fine but it’s easily the worst thing they’ve ever put out. They had to start somewhere though. The only way I could get excited about it is if they re-recorded it.

 

Waiting is good but like…who’s clamoring for this?

 

Yea i adore Waiting but this announcement could be underwhelming.

 

Stay hopeful. I dare you to try and name more than 20 announcements over the past 5 years that have been disappointing.

 

How about a ACBTLD/Common Existence/No Devolucion tour

 

that would require them playing more than like 15 songs though

 

Justice for the 15th anniversary of Common Existence

 

I know it wasn't really the album they wanted to make at the time but it's so good

 

Common Existence is my favorite album by them solely for that final track, which I once wrote sounded like band trying to demolish a building.

sounds like a cool thing for fans of that era, but yeah, a rerecording or reimagining of a song or two would have more of my interest.

Mentally preparing to travel to Jersey for the one City by the Light show they'll play in 2026 though

 

I'm tempted to go to this because I'm pretty sure it's the only way I'm ever gonna see these songs get played, but also I'm unsure how I feel about planning a winter trip around it

 

Someone somewhere is ULTRA excited about this I'm sure, but it's not me
