Just dropping in to say that I've had a long-standing hatred of American politics and very, very little faith in our democracy for most of my life, but by and large I've had a very informative time lurking in this thread over the past few months. Thanks to everyone for talking openly about their views; I'm at least one person who read through all of them and learned quite a few things. Also, I voted for the first time today.
