Cameron's a genius but he gets more thrill from new tech than anything else on this earth. You'll never convince him the shiny new toy isn't better, even when it's plainly worse.

A.I. is a bold choice, and putting 2046 above In the Mood for Love is a bold choice, but overall it has the necessary films. There Will Be Blood, Yi Yi, Mulholland Dr., and In the Mood for Love usually appear in the top ten at a minimum.

 

Waltz with Bashir is a surprise. I haven't heard anyone talk about that film since it came out.

Offside is a joy.

25th Hour is close to a perfect film.

Almost Famous is the worst film on there.

There are some really deep cuts in there. From Carlos Reygadas to mumblecore they really found some eclectic tastes.

Chaotic placing for Forgetting Sarah Marshall but I respect it

 

I will always have a soft spot for Almost Heroes. I showed it during a lesson on Lewis and Clark and the students surprisingly loved it. Beverly Hills Ninja was his worst.
