A huge part of it was Ralph's has ACTUAL discounts. Kroger in Athens was like "IT WAS $5.50 AND NOW ITS ON SALE FOR 5.40".

Finally stopped by the Academy museum. Thought it was interesting but also could do more? Idk it’s kinda all over the place. They’re opening an exhibit on Cyberpunk in October tho so I will be back.

Was there on the 4th of July for the first time. Had a cool little exhibit on the first floor on some of the stuff they did for A New Hope.

Can any of y’all recommend a place (preferably in the valley) to donate clothes that also accepts children’s clothing? Was gonna go Alexandria House but they aren’t accepting donations in July and August

  14. Parking for Olivia Rodrigo at Intuit Dome is $68. Street parking anywhere nearby requires a permit. I think I found street parking on Walnut north of Arbor Vitae about a mile and a half away using google maps street view to look at signs. There's Target or Costco lots nearby but I don't wanna risk getting towed. I think Intuit Dome is new but Kia Forum and SoFi Stadium are nearby. @irthesteve didn't you mention you parked at a brewery for The Forum? was it the Three Weavers Brewing Company?

  15. never done it but there’s people on facebook marketplace that sell their home parking for $20

People do this by the Jaguars stadium and it's always funny to see the people who will like, only sell their driveway vs. the unhinged people that will valet park their entire yard lol

Yes! Three Weavers is the one. Fair warning it was a few years back, so I can't 100% confirm it is still good, but I have seen online that they still let you.

I create content for some of your favorite artists

I always park on Hillcrest or Locust by the Vons/BoA for Forum and SoFi shows. Free street parking. 15 min walk. Easy. Probably a bit too much for Intuit though

  19. Anyone been to Cosm yet? Super intrigued by some of their showings

Haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. Know some people who work/freelance there so I’ve been pretty interested in seeing it.

I'll keep Vons in mind for the Forum but it's a little far for Intuit @DickyCullz. actually, so is the brewery @irthesteve

maybe i could park there, walk over, and uber back, would probably still be cheaper than paying for parking at the venue

although now i'm reading that it's not a safe area to walk at night? lots of people saying to just pay for parking and peace of mind

i'd probably be more down to walk a mile and a half at night if i wasn't trans.

    ughh i hate this

thank you for your input everyone, much to consider

I used SpotHero going to SoFi, ended up working well for me but I was there watching a NFL Game. Would suggest trying it out.

  25. Saw Foo Fighters last night at BMO and apparently they were charging $80 for parking lmao

Uber there was $24 and to go home $70(!!!) This stuff is getting out of hand lol, luckily was able to get a friend to pick me up instead
