I’ve been absolutely hooked on this all day. When I’m not listening to it, I find myself singing it.

Just so happy to have new music from them. I knew it would happen eventually and it was worth the wait. Really excited for more, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I do wish the “bit of a ghostland” part/melody had a different set of lyrics for the third or fourth repetition, but overall really love this song and hits the spots they’ve always managed to hit for me without feeling dated at all

 

Very random question but does anyone know why the song title ‘When “You’re” Around’ has the quotation marks around the word “you’re”? Feel like I’ve wondered about this the album came out way back when and never understood the context and meaning.

 

I always took it to be like an emphasis of the word. As if it’s italicized

 

i noticed recently they removed it on spotify but on my cd/itunes it still has the quotation marks

 

This is heartbreaking, heartwarming and made me shed a tear or two. Give it a read.
