    • Fucked Up -- one of the best hardcore bands around
    • beabadoobee -- 90's alt rock inspired pop
    • King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard -- ya never know what you're going to get with these guys because they change their sound almost every album! I believe this one is more of a straight-forward 70's inspired rock type deal.
    • Oso Oso -- I don't know if anything this dude does will ever reach For the Boats level of awesomeness for me, but I love this newer project's laid-back indie emo sound.
    • Four Year Strong -- easycore
    • And So I Watch You From Afar -- lean instrumental post-rock
    • In Aphelion -- absolutely stellar no fuss black metal.
    • Nova Charisma -- Swancore. Royal Coda guitarist and Hail the Sun vocalist. Pretty great
    • Mamaleek -- fucking weird band. slow, doom-ish tempo, some fuzzy guitars, some twinkly guitars, some unconventional rock instruments (flutes, harmonicas, violins, etc), deep, howling vocals. I dunno, man. I like it but it's hard to describe.
    • Oxygen Destroyer -- blackened thrash with a sweet Kaiju album cover
    • Twin Atlantic -- middling alt-rock. It's catchy and the vocalist lets his Scottish accent shine through.
