I was thinking the same thing playing monster hunter rise last night. It was a little jarring going from my ps5 to switch lite to play that game but it’s still commendable how the switch handles it (I know it was developed for the switch in mind but still). The quicker group queues is worth the lower frames tho

I was playing no more heroes and suddenly I’m collecting coconuts and enemies are throwing baseballs at me and I have to hit it to knock out enemies

Alright I’m jumping into MH World again since I’ve never played iceborne. I also really never messed with any end game stuff or farmed for specific weapons I definitely didn’t go as deep into this game as I did with Rise but I still think it’s the overall better game it’s just a lot harder to get all the way into BUT having played rise a lot lately has made me better at world and I was able to knock out the first iceborne master rank quest despite having shit gear

Trying to order the Astro bot controller fucking sucked. Kept getting error after error after error but was finally able to check out and get one

 

Do you prefer World or Rise?

 

Rise for playability World for immersion. It’s the difference between a deep slow RPG and an arcade game. Both are fun as hell but way different

 

I also think the weapon forging and upgrading is way easier to wrap your head around in rise, the crafting menus in world are horrible. Having forging and upgrading as separate menu options makes it very hard to keep track of which weapons you have and which you can craft and upgrade currently

I have not seen this report though.

 

Idk but both my brothers tv docks gave out on their base model switch so hopefully they do something to improve it
