Yeah I kind of wondered if COVID might be the culprit. Hopefully they all stay healthy.

Not gonna lie, as much as I love this band, my daughter starts daycare next week and that price tag makes me not too mad to get refunded the ticket money lol.

 

Yeah - this is going to pay for my car getting towed back from Chicago after breaking down the morning after Lolla at our hotel.

Also, prepare to be sick yourself every 2-3 weeks. My daughter started daycare last summer and I was sick every 3 weeks for a good 6 months.

I’m going to try and figure out the artist that designed the KC poster. I need a constant reminder of these dark times hanging in my hallway.

 

Is the label or band more responsible for the amount of tour dates a band has in an album cycle?

Touring is so physically demanding as it is, even for younger people. I can't imagine how challenging it is on the mind and body being in your 40s/50s either. There's just no way that work load is sustainable long term. I hope the band takes plenty of time to rest up once these dates are over with.

 

I hope there is another tour

 

Typically it's the booking agency who makes routing decisions, however a band as big as blink can set down hard lines about how when and for how long they want to be on tour.

 

Had flights out this weekend to catch one of the shows. Bummer. Hope Tom feels better soon!

 

Not sweating the canceled shows since we have the deluxe album to look forward to this month. Still a good blink month lol

 

I caught COVID last month I’m pretty sure. I got the booster shot in January so likely it would have been far worse had I not gotten it

 

Yeah I picked up Covid from the Blink show in Lexington last week. No fun.

I know Mark said they were thinking about touring in 2026 but my spidey senses say they take off most of next year.

He doesn’t really say tour, that could have just meant studio time… rehearsing… or having lunch. After this long stretch I don’t think Tom will be jumping at the idea of getting back out there in a few months.

 

Hope Columbus still happens next week. But I do want the boys healthy. Hopefully it’s not Covid as the stuff going around recently seems to really fuck with your voice.

 

I will be so bummed if it doesn't, but seems far away enough that we should be good
