Cool song. Sounds like MCS.

 

Super on par for them and that says a lot after them being removed for quite some time. Each member is doing great on this track. Fun!

 

Track is growing on me. Listened to it many many times already this morning.

Yepppp this is pretty fantastic. Scratches the itch, and feels like what I would expect from MCS in 2024. Really hope this new music does decent for them, because I'd love to see a tour that heavily pulls from a new album. Bring on more tunes!

 

I'd love to see a non-anniversary show soon. I know they're not as frequent offenders as their contemporaries, but still wouldn't mind a lengthy catalog show.

 

They’ve done two anniversary tours since 2022.

Granted, CTTM was supposed to be in 2020. But, that’s led to very few non anniversary deep cuts overall. Though they did better with that in the IATM tour throwing in Alcohol Eyes and such. Would love a tour with nothing from the first two albums just to change things up a bit. Maybe allow Future Freaks Me Out and Everything Is Alright for an encore.

This won’t happen haha but I’d love it.

It's so funny everyone hears MDL because I hear none of that. I hear so much Go and EIIKM.

Also, Josh was answering a bunch of questions on Instagram last night and answered these two questions:

Q. "No more hiatus again, please?"

A. "Hey we will do our best no plans to take breaks like that. We gotta keep it pretty chill on the touring due to having families and stuff like that but we are here to party"

Q. "Did it feel natural to make MCS music again or was it harder this time?"

A. "Honestly it felt very natural. Once we can get in the room and make the stuff happen. The biggest challenges we have is that we don't all live near each other and have families in our own lives all at the same time and we're trying to fit this in after not doing it for so long so that part felt a little foreign, but I can tell you once we get in a room and we make music together feels so fucking right"

 

I think I speak for many when I say "that is a Motion City Soundtrack song" (complimentary)

 

Thank god they're back and just as good as ever.

Yeah the more I listen to this the more in love I am. Such a fun return to form. Love the synth.
