An SNL movie that takes itself too seriously, just what everyone wanted. Shocked that Aaron Sorkin isn’t involved

 

The picture says this is my parents’ SNL, but the swears say this is NOT my parents’ SNL.

 

Not a bad first trailer.

I love Mathew Rhys but don't know if I'm sold on him as Carlin. On the opposite end fuck Nicholas Braun, but I can seen how he'd be a convincing Andy Kaufman and Jim Henson.

I thought "Cooper Hoffman seems a little young to play Dick Ebersol" then I learned Ebersol was only 28 at the time SNL debuted and one of the youngest TV executives ever.

Reitnman and Gil Kenan have me nervous after the Ghostbusters flicks, but this looks awesome.

 

If you haven't read the tell-all book Live From New York, I cannot recommend it enough.

 

Trailer looks way better than I expected. The format looks more interesting than a typical biopic shlockfest
