A user who previously leaked dialogue lines for Penguin and other leaks has answered some questions in the weekly thread. Take it as grains of salt.




Pre-Secret Wars:

Brave New World takes place in 2029 and is quite a jump from where the timeline currently sat (2026 for Guardians 3).

The script for Blade is ready. The only thing holding it back is no director.

IronHeart will take place during Halloween and will be released for the 2025 Halloween season.

Shang-Chi 2 (DDC is using some elements of his version of Kang Dynasty in it) and Armor Wars (being reworked to remove connections to Secret Invasion) are the only films unannounced before Secret Wars.

Spider-Man will be 23/24 in the Avengers films and the time-skip to 2029 is intentional for his character. He will be a Spidey in his prime.

Sony has had complaints over SM4 being tied closely to Daredevil after the show was overhauled to be a direct continuation of the Netflix show. This has caused delays in the script.


Marvel has planned on Dr Doom appearing ever since Secret Wars was announced. There was never an idea for a Secret Wars film without Doom.

As will be seen in the Avengers films, The Fox-Verse ”is completely fucked”



Post-Secret Wars:

There isn’t an immediate plan to recast any 616 heroes.

Marvel is wanting Silver Surfer to be a theatrical animated film

Moon Knight’s second season is happening, but only after Midnight Suns have been introduced.

She-Hulk will not get a second season. Marvel was unhappy with the CGI for the character and the budget needed for a second season won’t work due to low-rating of S1.

No plans for Ms Marvel season 2, but Feige has a soft spot for Iman and the character so she will be seen in Avengers films with a possibility of headlining in a team up.

Young Avengers has been scrapped. Elements of it are being carried to the Vision show and Hawkeye season 2.

Reynolds is already onboard with appearing beyond Secret Wars. Jackman and Keen are likely. An idea of bringing McAvoy and Fassbender back as older versions of their characters for Mutant material beyond Secret Wars has been talked about but he hasn’t heard anything on if it’s been decided.

Black Panther 3 is “penciled” as a February 2028 film and it will honor the first film’s 10th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the MCU.

 

I believe 5% of that.

If true, first of all, fuck Sony. Get onboard or get fucked.

Also, if that Armor Wars news is true, that sucks and I'm going to bet the ties have to do with how that show ended and the lingering question afterward, to which I say, do it you cowards.

 

Easily in the top 5 of all Marvel TV shows for me haha. And I'm including Netflix.

How hard could it be anyways?

 

I already accepted awhile ago that Blade just isn’t going to happen in this saga and definitely not with Ali. Lol

They could’ve just given us a great (mostly) standalone movie with Ali, but they’re probably throwing it into development hell because they need to force universe stuff into it. That’s the only thing I can imagine is causing this many script and director issues.

And I love that universe stuff, but just worry about giving us a good story/movie for the character and not just for the universe. It’ll be kinda annoying if we actually get Blade and it just feels like a Midnight Sons set up movie. But I’m basing this off of nothing and I most likely have no idea wtf I’m talking about.

As others have already said, it shouldn’t be this hard to make this movie. Lol

 

It's happening with Ali

 

They’re still trying to figure out what desolate green screen wasteland/alternate dimension/underground office building to set 80% of Blade’s running time in.

 

If the film isn’t pushed into 2026, I say just show him in Secret Wars and aim for it again after the soft reboot.

We know we’re not getting Midnight Suns until after Secret Wars, so
