ultimately, i do think so, but whether or not they like those programs seems to depend on the color of the skin of the person that is benefiting them at any given moment.

So our secretary constantly rambles about how Obama is the worst blah blah blah and so I closed the door and made a quip "can't stand hearing that nonsense anymore". Somebody in the room has the nerve to say "at least we live in a country that let's us have different opinions".

I feel like there's absolutely a disgust with the two party system & capitalism as a whole that can be exploited. A key will be in how policies and ideas that favor the working class are worded, since you would be working against decades of fear mongering

 

My professor said he wanted to vote for Bernie and I literally stood up and yelled hell yeah in the middle of class

Also gonna go vote when I get out of classes which is around 2. Hopefully the line won't be too bad. I passed my polling place on the way to school and the parking lot was a disaster
