This is pretty much a 1975 song only with her vocals in my ears.

 

Saw the band tonight and they sounded great! Set was mostly full of 2020 and later songs.

The performance did cement for me though that the sophomore album still lacks juice for me. “Over There” might possibly be my least favorite song of theirs and none of the other ballads were helped much by their live versions.

But I know I’m wrong, as the fans at the show ate them all up. I’m just thrilled they played “Follow My Girl” and “Worms.” Plus Amber has grown so much as a performer since the last time I saw them in 2019!

 

Did she play “Clean” or “Cool Blue”? Those songs are still tops for me

 

Nope, only one song from any of the original EPs. I believe it was “Teeth.”

 

I am the opposite. I saw her last Wednesday and thought the songs from this album sounded great, but I also really enjoy this album a lot.

 

i was there last night too! highlight for me was the “country” version of boyhood. i thought the new stuff all sounded great.

 

It was great to get that little extra treat at the end! I laughed pretty hard when someone requested "Sunshine Baby" and Amber was like "yeah one second i have a surprise"
