Regarding Cori Bush, I don't follow closely enough but there's a real blow back on new-ish politicians that seem more interested in national than local politics or fame for themselves. I don't doubt that she was targeted, but that story about her paying her husband as "security" it all checks out pretty bad.

There's more than just "she's anti-Israel" to not like if you're her constituent.
