Brady Ellison won the semis! Archery final is gonna be USA vs South Korea

If Brady does this then it'll be the first US archery gold since 1996.

 

SK wins gold, USA wins silver. Holy shit what an incredible archery final. Went to single arrow shootoff with both getting 10s but Ellison just lost by being 5cm off. The US took the most dominant archery country in the world to the absolute limit .


This Table Tennis final was similar. Sweden lost, but holy shit Moregard made China work hard for it.

 

Now I'm watching US in the team fencing semis. Clear difference between the men and the women team is these dudes are getting emotional, pissy, bitching at the refs, and it's throwing them off. The women were well composed straight up killers. Our men's team definitely isn't that lol

So, uh, it really does look like the Olympics really tried to keep Shelly and Sha’Carri from competing yesterday by changing a rule and not telling them. It took Sha’Carri an hour to get into the stadium and Shelly just didn’t try. This time delay led to Sha’Carri missing her warmup. So she ran the semi cold.

overnight they changed the rule that the only way into the athletics stadium was on official shuttles from the village. neither of them were staying in the village, so when they arrived at the athlete entrance they were denied entry.

 

There’s videos of them standing at the gate, sitting on the ground crying, talking to team mates through the bars, US and Jamaica officials being like “you don’t recognize the two fastest women on the planet?” and everything.

 

Wu Shih-yi, the other female boxer involved in this bullshit controversy just clinched bronze.
