Not much for me this week, so here’s some stuff and that I have been really enjoying, and recently-ish found:
• Uprising — riff-based anti-facist black metal with some melody
• Victorius (yes, it’s spelled wrong) — the most ridiculous, catchy power metal about ninjas and robot dinosaurs and laser sharks
• Finsterforst — epic, progressive folk metal

New Spill Canas single and Smashing Pumpkins

 

For me the energy is zapped.

 

This Midfield record was fun. Hearing some modern pop-punk mixed with set your goals, story so far, four year strong

 

The new Why? album and I See Stars single.

 

Listening to the new Anberlin makes me wonder when I actually last liked something new from them. I think it's been like 14 years since I really enjoyed their music.

This new one is a real mixed bag and doesn't flow well. But idk, maybe after a few listens I'll like it more.
