Last night after news of the leak dropped, I went to Reddit for more info. I know I shouldn't expect better from Reddit, but the general vibe there was so fucking miserable. Just loads of fans grasping for any reason to wail about how terrible they think the show is.

 

Wait till they find out almost everything looks different than whats in the books.

what do we think the chances are we ever get a show on the conquest

 

I’ve thought about it and it would be super cool if we got a cold open next season or season after just showing a quick glimpse of it. Specifically a really cool part to showcase it. I think it would drive a lot of excitement and would be fitting since the show is about Targs. Then boom you have the ability to green light it with the hype.

 

i guess there’s an actual show in development but yeah that would be cool

 

Yeah we’re def gonna get more asoiaf content, and I assume that means we get the conquest at some point. It’s probably a 2 season show at the absolute most, though I suppose you could stretch it into 3

 

I have managed to avoid spoilers for tomorrow somehow. So far the only thing that has popped up on my Twitter for you page has been posts that the episode leaked, but no actual info yet so I hope that continues to be true lol

Book people I have a question

so it seems they are skipping the gullet and going straight to raenyhra taking kings landing. So what is the reason that aemond and vhaegar aren’t there now. Aemond knows they have all these dragons do you think he just flees because he knows he’ll lose. I feel like in the books the blacks take some heavy loses in the gullet and the greens are on the attack to go to harrenhall. Not sure how it plays out on reverse.

 

based on one of the leaks that I unfortunately saw, I think the finale will provide that answer. to be vague and prevent spoiling for anyone else hah.

 

Yeah we won't know the right answer to that until the episode actually airs I feel.

Also regarding the leak I'm one of those sickos who tried finding it early. Turns out it was just PART (albeit more than a minute) of the episode. The entire thing didn't leak, much to my dismay lol.

 

Yeah the leaker posted 30 minutes in total of a 70 minute episode. Idk if they just highlighted important parts but a lot of it didn’t make much sense out of context.

 

I was looking for the full episode, but once I saw the leaked scenes were only ~30 minutes total spread across a dozen TikTok vids, I decided I can wait until tomorrow night

 

My one request for the finale is that we finally see Otto again and he’s found in the bowels of the pleasure den. Would be most fitting.

 

I wonder if we see him and Daeron.

Not in the pleasure den together of course lol.

 

my guess is he’s going to go off on Vhagar to “help cole/find daemon” but that’s really just a way to avoid getting wrecked by the 4 dragons coming his way. But I agree doing them out of order is kinda dumb
