I'd accept anything from the 2008 to 2012 run as Fallon's best.

if we're talking Fallon's entire catalog it's Elsie by about 100 miles. as far as Gaslight is concerned I most days rank Slang as my number one.

 

Going through Handwritten again and Keepsake is better than I remember.

 

I was gonna ask why you’d omit his solo output then I remembered that Elsie came out in 2011.

 

I imagine I’ll be the Outlier who has Sleepwalkers muuuuuch higher than the rest lol

yeah Elsie is the best overall, his first 2 solo albums are my bottom 2

 

i like a lot of songs on Sleepwalkers but the songs I don't like, i really don't like lol

 

Such a strong record with the exception of “Proof of Life”. Going back to back with Little Nightmares and the title track then closing with Watson and SYOTOS gets me every time.

 

lol I have such a soft spot for that album. See You On The Other Side was our wedding song and it was just such a big part of me and Beads getting really serious and getting engaged/married.

 

Proof of Life might be his worst song…?

 

No shot lol. Looking at you Mojo Hand. I also wanna ding I Don’t Mind (If I’m With You) only for it being another one of his songs and him pretending to not have noticed haha

 

Etta James is really the only song I like on the first half, the title track is alright but the last like 3 songs are the only ones on there that i love.
