I went to Walmart to get deodorant and as soon I got to the aisle I hear the guy next to me go "damn now they even got the deodorant in the cages huh". I didn't have time to deal with trying to find an employee so I found little travel sized deodorants that weren't locked up lol

but it's just dumb, I have no problem with locking up things that are more valuable/expensive, but I shouldn't need to go flagging down an employee to unlock something that costs $5 lol

This sounds like a Wal-Mart issue, haha

Side note, grocery stores here in Norway (and in Netherlands/Germany it seems) require you to scan your receipt in order to leave the paying area

Yeah, it’s so awkward to tell an employee to unlock the magnum condom case for me.

The easy solution is doing curbside pickup. Saves time and you don’t have to expose yourself to all the sick ass people walking around

This reminds me of the kid who inherited $800k from his grandmother, put $100k in savings, and $700k in Intel stock the day before Intel cut 15% of its staff. He lost like $150k in less than a day hahaha

I’ll never go to Walmart haha. My local target doesn’t have anything locked up

Always so bizarre to hear what other cities lock up in stores these days. Where I am, things are relatively safe and we don't do any of that weird shit. Just things like video games and Sudafed..

This is all I do for groceries now since the pandemic. Walmart does not charge extra and tips are not accepted. It's fucking great.

Very useful LinkedIn notification I just got:

I stopped reading before bed. Here’s why ⤵️

    For years…

I was hooked on business & personal growth books.
I’d obsess over reading one a week.
Up to 100 pages every night.

But by the time my head hit the pillow…

    My mind was racing 100mph.

    So, a few years ago…

I traded reading for an early night.

    The result?

    Slept better than ever
    Energy levels improved
    ️ Creativity skyrocketed
    Business started to thrive

    My point?

We put ourselves under a lot of pressure.

    Pressure to learn absolutely everything.
Pressure to make the most of our day.
    Pressure to have perfect habits.

    But I can almost guarantee:

Whatever area of life you’re looking to improve…

    Your business
    Your health
    Your career

… will improve, if you prioritise sleep over everything.

So, if there’s a toss up between:

    ‘Squeezing something in’
    OR
    Going to sleep

    Choose sleep

If it’s REALLY urgent, you can always wake up early ‍♂️

    Anyone else agree?

I’d rather have a hundred diseases at once than read a business or personal growth book.

Also dumb impulse buys you usually end up regretting are one of the most important aspects of grocery shopping.
