ahh i shouldve known dungeon meshi would need a season two. honestly i didn't even think about the fact that it's being adapted from a manga. that was an oddly anticlimactic season finale but the idea that their plan is to eat the dragon half of Falin is bonkers haha

 

Well I finally finished season 1 of the live action One Piece and while it starts out okay.. there’s just too many changes for me.. 5.5/10

It feels disingenuous to call this "Season 2" since the three "movies" that preceeded it are legitimate adaptations of material that are not skippable. I understand the logic, but it feels odd as shit.

I want to say they’re only like 60 chapters behind

 

The newest episode, 150 (s7e12) just adapted up to chapter 366. So less than 70 chapters left to adapt. It’s in the middle of the final arc

 

There’s going to be another season after this. But idk how they’re going to stretch it out for another season.

 

I mean they don’t have to stick to the 25 episode thing. So there’s nothing stopping them from just doing a short season to end it.

 

I still can’t believe they’re doing 3 movies to finish Demon Slayer lol

 

We are truly in the darkest timeline. If you miss even one in theaters then you’re stuck waiting even longer for the home release

 

It's silly, but I'm down. Going to see To the Hashira Training was hype, even if it was just one season finale and one season premiere combined. I wish I was into it when Mugen Train came out so I could've seen that in theaters as well

buuut I'm in LA so there's a very small chance of it not coming here

 

The Hashira Training “movie” was the first one I missed in theaters. I was so bummed

 

Watch them end up doing what they did to the Mugen train movie and turn it into episodes down the line

 

I didn’t even think of this. They are 100% going to do that. Lol
