they are from Rochester, so it could be a tour but they also could just be playing there.

 

I have a feeling we'll get a tour announcement at the end of this week, if not next week. Tribal Gaze also posted on twitter they had another tour announcement to do this week, would be cool to see them together.

I heard back in February that a new venue was opening on Oceanside. I guess it’s a small-scale arena? I don’t remember the capacity.

But it sounds cool. I love Oceanside, so it’s nice to have an excuse to go down there

 

Brand new soccer arena for the Sockers that holds 7500. Opens up in September.

 

tickets are already on sale. $33 + fees but should be a cool experience.

 

Especially when they haven't played the area in so long... I bought the ticket just in case.

 

Rumors from Vegas are with the success (sold out 85k tickets in a day/5 nights) of the Anyma residency that there’s a couple more electronic acts on deck for 2025 at the Sphere.

Rufus Du Sol is the big rumor, residency with Wynn expires in Sep and could be announced then.

 

Trash boat announcing a tour tomorrow. First US headline tour finally? They have a couple UK dates so probably not that?

 

I would be shocked if trash boat could pull a US headliner

 

they could absolutely headline 250-500 cap rooms. Smaller UK bands have done it before.

 

I would have been all over a Trash Boat headliner in 2018-2019. Now though? Let me see that setlist before committing to anything.

 

I was talking about this with friends yesterday: What's everyone's first show going to be after the election? Based on the leaked dates, Knocked Loose is going to be mine if it still happens.

 

I literally have nothing on my calendar yet for November and only the Blood Brothers in December. I'm sure that will change as more gets announced. I usually do at least one of the Q101 Twisted Christmas shows in the first week of December.

Kacey Musgraves in Baltimore and Ratboys in DC (one night as of now, they just dropped a second night I might go to) the weekend after Election Day. I might try to see Machine Girl the day after, but keeping things open depending on how things go down here. It will be my first presidential election living around DC, for better or worse

Election night is on my birthday this year, but I'll be working late covering the local races anyway. My wife got me VIP tickets for Wheel of Fortune Live the following week so I guess it'll be that.

A few weeks ago there was some dates posted along a Militarie Gun press release about a Knocked Loose tour with City Morgue, Militarie Gun and Drain, but allegations came against a member of City Morgue the same week so there has been a delay ever since.
