Man what an episode. Between the river lords and Oscar/Daemon/Strong, the lore indulging with Hugh seemingly claiming to be Saera’s son, the reaping and Vermithor just being an absolute monster, finally getting Vermithor and Silverwing in all their glory, the flying around KL and Aemond giving chase on Vhagar only to have to turn around when he realized uh oh….Im at Randy Marsh in Californee levels here. Fucking hell.

Syrax and I assumed it was Vermithor right behind, one thing I’ve noticed is they’re not great at getting the sizes of the dragons to be consistent, especially when there’s scale and foreground/background involved in the shot. It looked big but not as big as I would assume? Depending on how close the dragon was to Rhaenyra. Will have to watch again and see.

I was so busy freaking out over the Saera lore I completely missed Hugh saying that their daughter died. Damn.

 

This kind of hyperbole is so annoying. it was a good episode, really good even but the sooner we ignore these early screening reviews the better
