My old driving instructor was also a professional fencing referee. He wanted to compete at the Olympics when he was younger but just missed out, so trained as a ref. He is a truly lovely man too.

Not sure what the point of this was, but he used to tell me about fencing all the time.

Oh yeah for sure, I've broken both arms at the same skatepark on different occasions lol. I am not ignorant to the sport. My point was just that I've seen much better tricks and more risk taking at the x games.

Idk, I just thought the women snowboarders at the last Olympics were doing much more impressive things and I think both sports are equally challenging from many years of doing both. I am not saying these women weren't incredibly talented. More than me for sure. It's just.. this is the Olympics! Haha

This is true when you're actually doing difficult tricks (for a professional in the Olympics). We are talking about kickflips and board slides here. They weren't even doing anything special to the kickflips. Just a single rotation
