Went to see Locrian last night they were so good

A Monolithic Dome was the opener new band ft members of elizabeth colour wheel and wow they floored me set was greatttt intense loud heavy af keep an eye out for them!

 

I completely blanked and missed my date here and I'm bummed. Was it awesome? I've heard a few people in here praise how good Tomb Mold are live. Next time I guess but kicking myself for not managing my calendar better.

Unrelated - new Fit for An Autopsy single tomorrow and US tour dates with Bodysnatcher out. They've been on my bucket list for metal bands to see.

I've gone to way less shows this year but they will all have been high quality.

 

It was a sick show. Definitely recommend trying to catch them the next time you get a chance. As a drummer, I have a soft spot for drumming vocalists. Also, Tomb Mold is one of the only bands I like that play a headless guitar lol.

 

New Fit For An Autopsy single is pretty good.

I don't mind the cleans (I know they've had plenty before) but it's a different style here. It works well and doesn't dilute / change their signature sound. The chorus also doesn't loop as much so it's not overwhelming. Hyped for this whole album and the tour.

 

Gojira fucking killed it at the opening ceremonies. Transitioning from les mis to them, best of both worlds.

Holy shit. Like, that was GOJIRA, Gojira. They didn't hold back! I thought it was going to be a watered down, you know, less metal performance.

That was METAL as fuck!

 

Seriously the coolest fucking thing to happen in a long time.
