I saw a clip of her earlier singing a song that has fart in the title and thought it was a joke. Turns out it wasn't. She also looked bored as fuck.

 

Her debut album is 10 songs, 23 minutes. She put a ton of thought into it

Seriously though, she has always sounded so bored in her delivery that I can't imagine a full album (even at 23 minutes) is very good. Feels like a flash in the pan at this point.

 

yup. I was rooting for her and enjoying her progression for a bit but she stalled out and it’s hard to see any recovery from here

No idea what to expect from this Westside Gunn show at House of Blues Cleveland on Friday, he's billed but apparently it's a birthday party with Bun B, Statik Selektah, Jay Worthy, Meyhem Lauren, Crimeapple, Raz Fresco, and DJ Muggs. If anyone has essentials or recommendations for any of these artists, let me know, because Gunn, Jay Worthy, and Crimeapple are the only three I'm familiar with

Ice Spice’s music started out pretty unlistenable, maybe only gotten worse but it’s always been trash IMO

I kind of get the impression that Ice Spice is more interested in being a celebrity than an artist and is using music to get there
