Hertha may be the most insane club in the world lol.

Fan-favourite, long-term manager Pal Dardai has just been sacked for the third time, this time it was because they didn’t get promoted straight back to the Bundesliga. In response, he is running for president and threatening to sack all of the board who fired him if he wins lol.

United better stay tf away from Dumfries. Massively overrated every time I've seen him, wants big wages, and only works as a RWB (which we don't play). Would much rather extend AWB and keep him as backup.

You had me until that last part! I’d rather just see what someone like Kyle Walker Peters is up to lol.

Oh, completely agree. I meant if the option was a direct "AWB Vs Dumfries", a swap of some sort like the tweet implies. KWP would be very interesting as could cover both sides

Honestly if there’s not a good fit for back up RB would honestly just rather let AWB see out his contract and us look at that spot a year from now. At least with Dalot and AWB we have two RBs that can stay fit fort the most part, LB seems the more pressing matter with Shaw missing all last season and Malacia MIA.

Part of me feels United definitely shouldn't go down the "Dutch friends" route of signing Dumfries, especially considering how perilous ETH's position was not too long ago. I guess you could also group Mazraoui as an "Ajax friend", too.

I think the whole Dutch aspect is slightly overexaggerated by the media - as long as there is solid scouting behind the decisions (which, with Ashworth now in place, you'd hope there would be). If they're good players and fit the club philosophy, it's not a problem. Got to be careful the dressing room doesn't get clique-y too mind.

Really is crazy what has happened with Malacia mind. Literally missed an entire season and is now injured again. Been very hush hush as to what happened, but think The Athletic hinted that his initial surgery went wrong and caused infection etc. Hope for his sake that he can get sorted eventually.

  13. @SamLevi11 starting to see some stuff about Arsenal preparing a bid for Gyorekes. Do you see this being a thing? I’m gonna be sad if you guys get Calafiori and Gyorekes lol

Is there a Spanish midfielder we aren’t interested in?

Depends on the price, honestly. Last I saw, Sporting were after €80m minimum. I think we might struggle to raise those funds, and I don’t see us making a “big” signing this window.

So, whilst he’s a good striker, I doubt we go for him.

  18. I think if Spurs sell Richy to Saudi league we’ll have the means to make a big move like that. Otherwise, probably not.

The only thing that I’m not sure about is that we should be getting £60m+ for ESR and Nketiah, plus whatever we get with Nelson. So maybe we have more money than we previously thought.

Wow, this is a club who have won a league more recently than teams like Arsenal, Spurs, Valencia, Roma, Lazio, etc

Go bust or be Liverpool's B team? I can assure you this is the lesser of two evils!

Seriously, though, I feel for the supporters and the city, cause that place will suffer too. Beautiful part of the world.

  22. It's so sad how clubs find themselves in this position due to poor leadership. The good news is once someone buys them, we'll get a good docuseries about it, haha.

  25. Not sure how reliable the sources are, but a couple reports in Italy saying Spurs are closing to signing Chiesa.

I’m indifferent on this one. I know he’s super talented, and his profile is probably a good match for what Ange wants, but his injury history is obviously concerning.
