Gaslight Anthem NJ show is sold out buy NYC still seems to have plenty of tickets.

 

Ticket prices have definitely gotten out of control lately but I don't think 80 bucks to see Clairo is that shocking.

I do think the bubble is about to burst, though. The post-Covid demand has gone away, we've been toeing the line of a recession...people aren't willing to blow their entire paychecks on concerts anymore.

I'm noticing lately that if you just wait until a couple weeks before the show most of those "dynamic priced" tickets deflate in cost on Ticketmaster. And if you wait until a few days before, you can usually find a way below face value ticket on Stubhub.

 

Feels wrong for the words "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and "Awsten Knight" to be that close together.

 

A lot of VIP packages, if they don't sell, get downgraded to standard tickets and are cheaper too.

 

Kinda weak given the history of their roster

 

It gives "we decided to do this three days ago and called in some favors"

Now that is a lineup. Any word on when it'll be announced?

 

Philly got leaked for October 28th and they are both on furnace fest so gotta assume tomorrow? Right?

Dope. I gotta assume there is an NYC or CT date but with so much going on in my life from October 19th to 31st I’m worried I won’t make it

What a come up for rise records

 

Yeah it immediately struck me that they’re on Rise now. Wonder what happened with Epitaph.

Rise has been getting a lot of good signings the past few years

 

pure speculation, but I imagine that epitaph has a lot of big bands but rise probably rolled out the red carpet for them.
